The pandemic may have interrupted our physical networking, but it has not stopped the energy transition. The recent events in Ukraine shed a crude light on the need to invest massively in home grown and sustainable heating sources. Locally owned and a flagship of Europe's energy industry, the European DHC industry is ready to play its part in delivering a more secure and sustainable energy system for all.
Under the leadership of Euroheat & Power (EHP), our industry pledged in 2019 to pursue the full decarbonisation of DHC networks in Europe before 2050. To achieve this goal, we will have to innovate and invest massively to become smarter, more efficient and renewable-based.
The 2022 EHP Conference will bring together high-level policy makers, industry representatives and our research community to reflect on how DHC can become the best possible version of itself, for a better and greener economy.
